We specialise in small-run and one-off castings

Silverstream Foundry started from small beginnings in 1996 with the partnership of Roger and Julie Woodhouse, gradually moving up to the larger premises they have today.

Over the years specialised foundry equipment has been sourced to enable a wide variety of products to be made.

The name Silverstream represents the ever flowing stream of silver aluminium - the main product of the foundry. Special grades of aluminium are used for marine products.

Roger spent his training years with Colin Marshall, a well known foundryman, until Colin's untimely death in the 1990s. Roger owes a debt of gratitude to Colin for the expertise he has gained and used in many foundry fields over his 40 years of experience.

Silverstream Foundry has built up a large client base with the boat building industry, Gate and Balustrade manufacturers, and councils and engineering businesses in New Zealand, all whom require top quality items.

We now have a Vibrating Bead Tumbler to improve the finish of castings.
